Már láthatóak a nemrégiben született vörös óriáskenguruk (Macropus rufus) a Nyíregyházi Állatparkban. A jelenleg még az anyjuk zsebében élő két, három és fél hónapos kölykökkel együtt már hét tagot számlál az országban csak Nyíregyházán látható kengurucsapat.
